In the 1990's Grand Island Lacrosse established itself as one of the premier lacrosse programs in Western New York, winning Class B sectional titles in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1995. The Vikings began the new millennium off the right way winning another sectional championship in 2000. The Vikings seventh sectional championship came in 2017 under the leadership of Coach Ted Lee.
